We believe in the transformative power of a birth story. We are part of a movement for reproductive justice.

For us, 2025 is a year of transition.

We are dedicated to the ongoing practice of thought partnership with our associate artists, developing The Birth Play Project’s theory of change and the plan for our next five years of local impact.

We will connect with the Twin Cities at large through a series of workshop offerings and an inaugural fundraising event, and we also have a brand new script gestating.

The Birth Play Project is a Minneapolis-based company of theatre artists.

The BPP began as a site of artistic research in 2020. Since then, we have grown into a thriving community of artists guided by the principles of reproductive justice.
